Q: HOW FAST DO YOUR KARTS GO?
A: They reach speeds up to 45 mph for Adult and 20 mph for Junior.
Q: WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR?
A: Each driver must have closed toed shoes to race. But don’t worry, if you happen to forget NH1 Motorplex can provide you with a pair.
Q: CAN I BRING MY OWN HELMET?
A: Yes! It must be DOT approved or greater w/ a full face, visor or goggles.
Q: WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR KIDS?
A: All racers must be at least 48” tall, at least 6 years old and able to operate the kart safely. All racers will require to have a parent or guardian sign a minor release & waiver liability form.
Q: DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?
A: For groups of 8 or more it is highly recommended. That way you won’t have to wait for track time and you can race with your group.
Q: ARE THERE ANY HEIGHT AND WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS?
A: Adult/Teen racers must be 56” tall or minimum 12 yrs. Junior racers must be 48” tall or minimum 6 yrs. All racers must be under 7’ tall & 300 lbs.
Q: HOW LONG IS A RACE?
A: Each race for an Adult is approximately 14 laps, 12 laps for Juniors and lasts about 10-12 minutes depending on how fast you drive.
Q: WHAT DOES “ARRIVE & DRIVE” MEAN?
A: It’s a term for anyone that walks into our facility without being part of a group or event, you will be entered into races on a first-come basis.
Q: DO I NEED TRAINING?
A: Each racer must attend a short safety briefing. This will include instruction on how to operate your kart, safety signs, what each flag means, and all track & kart rules.
Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN ELECTRIC KART AND A GAS KART?
A: Electric karts are quiet, they accelerate harder, smoother and are more consistent. They have no fumes, go faster and are super fun!
